"Wonderful Stay at this Spectacular Venue. We drove down the West coast of NZ, not knowing what to expect. We were thrilled by the Pancake Rocks (Punakaiki, Paparoa NP) and then just a short time later pulled into Jan and Steven’s delightful accommodations overlooking a gorgeous beach. Calling to mind the Oregon and California’s rugged north coast (think Mendocino), we thoroughly enjoyed the sunset over the Tasman Sea as we sipped wine in our cosy and we’ll appointed room. Later, the night sky was brilliant. Next morning, we explored the almost private beach below the hotel. Steven and Jan were gracious and attentive hosts, without being intrusive. All told, we recommend Breakers wholeheartedly."

"Peace On the beach. Driving down the west coast of New Zealand, south of Paparoa National Park, we found a heavenly retreat at the Breakers. Jan and Stephen were cheerful, helpful hosts, and steered us to a fine local pub for dinner instead of the Greymouth restaurant we’d found online. Great breakfast, millions of stars, and a beautiful private beach walk added to a huge, modern and comfortable room. Great stay!"

We spent 3 nights this trip and were sad to go.
