Want to see the best the West Coast has to offer, then this is the tour package for you.  Breakers boutique accommodation has got together with local tour guides to show you the best of the West Coast with accommodation overlooking the Tasman Sea and travel down to the majestic Franz Josef glaciers and to up to Punakaiki and the famous pancake rock formations.

Day one is the full day guided Glacier Nature tour with pickup from Breakers. The tour heads to Franz Josef glacier, stopping at Hokitika to experience local art and craft before passing through goldmining towns, pockets of rich farming land and luxuriant Podocarp forests and stopping at some of New Zealand's most beautiful lakes. The tour gives an insight into the rugged life in South Westland and a people shaped by isolation and a harsh environment. Finally your tour takes you to view the majestic Franz Josef Glacier surrounded by snow-capped peaks.

Day two is the half-day guided Punakaiki tour with pickup from Breakers. Tour includes driving along the world renowned Coastal Highway – voted one of the top ten coastal drives in the world to Punakaiki and the Pancake rock formations and blowholes, a guided bushwalk in the national park with subtropical rainforest and a ramble on a wild west coast beach.

Package includes three nights accommodation, breakfast daily, fresh baking on arrival, homemade pizza and bottle of wine, picnic lunches on both days, a full day guided lake and glacier nature tour and a half day guided Punakaiki tour with transfers to and from Breakers.

Accommodation at Breakers is in one of our three luxury rooms with king or queen bed, ensuite bathroom, outdoor balcony access with seating, fantastic sea views, hot drink making facilities and wifi. Lie in bed and watch the rolling surf and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the breaking waves.

Breakers is located on the Punakaiki coastline, 14kms north of Greymouth and 30kms south of Punakaiki. We have our own private track to access the beach below and 2 acres of native bush and landscaped gardens. Relax in your room or out on the balcony and make the most of the fantastic sea views with the sun setting over the Tasman Sea. We have an in-house dining menu and local beer and wine list so you can make the most of this fantastic location. Deal includes complimentary pizza and wine for one night.

Rate is $945 per person (twin share). Rate includes 3 nights accommodation with breakfast daily, picnic lunch each day, full day guided glacier tour and ½ day guided Punakaiki tour. Includes complimentary bottle of wine and two home made pizzas per couple. Transfers available to and from train station at additional $30.00 per person.
