Fantastic Sea Views and Sunsets from our Guest RoomsBreakthrough Breakwater  Driftwood Sunset  Each guest room at Breakers has its own unique personal charm and shares the same level of comfort and guest services. The decor is in keeping with our beachfront location, light with warm colourings and native NZ recycled timbers with lots of local artwork and photography. We use quality bedding and linen with NZ wool/cotton underlays, feather/down blankets and wool/down duvets to help ensure you have a comfortable good nights sleep. Due to our rural location, we do ask for shoes off inside and slippers are provided for guest use during your stay - this is part of our environmental policy. Bathrooms are contemporary, with modern fixtures, walk in showers, NZ hand made custom toiletries, lots of fluffy cotton towels and heated towel rails. There is also a hairdryer available in each guest room. There is complimentary hot drink making facilities, and Jan's homemade baking - either fresh muffins, slice or cookies. A fridge is provided in each garden room and NZ wine, beer and soft drinks are available to purchase or you can bring your own. A fridge is also located with the hot drink making facilities for the upstairs rooms - again you can purchase NZ wine, beer and soft drinks from Breakers or you are welcome to bring your own. All suites have Television with LCD screens, and our guest lounge has DVD, and CD player, with an in house selection of CD's and DVD Movies. Complimentary wireless internet is available throughout the property. Breakthrough Upstairs in the main house offering all the comforts and features of our other rooms in a smaller, yet charming package with fantastic sea views at a more modest price. Decorated in warm colours with NZ native recycled furniture throughout and queen bed. This room has been redecorated since this photo was taken, but we wanted to show the view from the room! A warm, cosy room that opens out on to the balcony, comfortable seating in the bay window or you can lie in bed and watch the rolling surf. Breakwater Upstairs in the main house with uninterrupted sea views - including from the ensuite bathroom! Decorated in warm colours with NZ native recycled furniture, you can lie in bed and watch the surf. A comfortable sitting area is provided and makes the most of the fantastic views of our grounds, the beach and the mighty Tasman Sea. The room opens onto the balcony so no matter what the weather you can enjoy our beachfront location. Breakwater has a king bed and a leather sofa bed that converts to a king single bed for twin or triple occupancy.Driftwood * Located in our separate garden annex building, ground level with views out to Mussel Point and the beach below. Entrance area opens into a wonderful large room, warmly decorated with NZ native timbers and beach stones with super-king bed positioned to make the most of the fabulous views. Bed is a super-king split that splits to two single beds for twin occupancy. Decorated in warm neutral tones in keeping with our beachfront location. A comfortable sitting area is provided looking out to sea and leading out on the deck. Sit back, relax and enjoy the fabulous sea views and the sounds of the sea.* Driftwood is also disabled friendly with wheelchair ramp access, large spacious room, and disabled bathroom facilities with slide shower and hand rails provided. Sunset Located ground level in our separate garden annex building with views to the beach and Mussel Point. Lovely large room with cosy Super-king bed, luxurious bedding and linens and comfortable sitting area positioned to make the most of the views. Decorated in warm neutral colourings in keeping with our beachfront location and using Native NZ recycled timbers and beach stones. Slide back the curtains, put your feet up and relax in this gorgeous setting while listening to the sound of the surf and the birds singing.
